The Secret Society of Black Creatives is governed by a fiduciary Board of Directors committed to advancing equity, access, and sustainable growth within the film and creative industries.

Our Board provides strategic oversight, financial stewardship, and mission accountability. As a voting body, the Board ensures that SSBC remains aligned with its core purpose: expanding access, creating opportunity, and building pathways for Black creatives across Massachusetts and beyond.

Each board member brings a distinct combination of industry expertise, community leadership, and lived experience. Together, they guide long-term vision, uphold fiduciary responsibility, and support the organization’s programming, partnerships, and impact.

From governance and finance to education, outreach, and membership engagement, the Board works collectively to strengthen SSBC’s foundation — so that the next generation of creatives doesn’t have to navigate the industry alone.
