Emmy-nominated filmmaker and creative producer advancing storytelling at the intersection of culture, community, and impact.

Jessica Estelle Huggins is an Emmy-nominated Boston filmmaker and creative producer whose work sits at the intersection of film, culture, and community. With a foundation in independent filmmaking and over a decade leading impact-driven campaigns, she has built a career rooted in collaboration, equity, and storytelling as a tool for social change.

Her films have screened at festivals nationwide and received multiple awards, including The Highest Standard, Memoirs of a Black Girl, Chi~Voices: A Poetic Film Series, and Perfect Day. In 2024, she executive produced two short documentaries with Another Age Productions, Emmy-nominated The Mural Master and The Dancing Diplomat both featured in regional festivals and available to stream on VERY LOCAL. She has also served as a production, distribution, and impact strategist for organizations including Brave New Films, ITVS, Documentary Educational Resources, The Redford Center, and Picture Motion.

In 2019, she was honored with the inaugural New England Film Star Award, and in 2023 recognized by the Charles River Chamber of Commerce as an Emerging Business Leader of Color. Balancing motherhood, creative ambition, and leadership, Jessica approaches every project with intention, care, and joy, centering her work on healing, belonging, and narrative power, especially for communities of color.
