Daniel Laurent is a Boston-born creative, entrepreneur, and multidisciplinary storyteller whose work spans music, film, and media. With a background in advertising and marketing from the Fashion Institute of Technology, he brings a strong understanding of audience building, branding, and community engagement.
As an independent artist, Daniel has released multiple albums, contributed to numerous collaborative projects, and worked across film, commercial, and digital media production. His work consistently centers storytelling as a tool for connection, visibility, and cultural impact.
As Board Member of Membership, Daniel focuses on cultivating a strong, engaged, and accessible community within SSBC. His approach prioritizes connection, retention, and meaningful participation—ensuring that members not only join, but feel supported, seen, and activated within the organization.
He is also the founder of Black Dollar, a message-driven apparel brand, and co-founder of For Your Review, a small business consulting firm. Across all of his work, Daniel is driven by a commitment to intentional impact and community empowerment.
