Andrea Lyman is currently the New England Local President of SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors Guild-American Federation Of Television and Radio Artists), a member of the Advisory Board of The Secret Society Of Black Creatives, on the Executive Board of the Greater Boston Labor Council and on the board of Roxbury International Film Festival (RoxFilm Festival). Andrea can be seen film festivals across the country in CROOKED FINGER,  UGLY SWEATER (recently at the Pan African Film Festival in LA), COME ON IN film (recently at Key West Studio Film Festival for RoxFilms) and PLUS 1’s. Andrea played real life characters in the historical docudrama films HALF THE HISTORY: ELLEN GARRISON: AN ACTIVIST’S STORY playing Ellen Garrison and in NEGRO ELECTION DAY playing the Phyllis wife of the King. This spring she performed on stage in MOMOLOGUES: THE MUSICAL. She performs her one woman musical show BROADWAY LADY.
